Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 12

We've got two layouts from Angela.
These are the final projects.
We hope you enjoyed all of the projects & sketches features during the last 12 days.
Happy Holidays!

On the final day of Got Sketch's The 12 Days of Christmas, I would like to share two layouts I made of two very significant groups of people in my life.

I used a family photo for the layout I did based on sketch 115.  I only have one sibling, a younger sister. But, I am blessed with a huge extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and even grandkids! This year, my family faced a crisis that hit us hard and took us by surprise. I thought my sister and I would be left to handle this on our own. But our relatives rallied behind us and provided the love and support when my family needed it the most.  And now, more than ever, I realized the true value of having a family that will always be there for you, no matter what.  This is one of the reasons why I love this hobby so much. Scrapbooking has given me the opportunity to document all the beautiful and happy memories I have shared with my loved ones. For this, I am truly grateful.

Sketch 115

SOURCES  Cardstock:  American Crafts. Patterned  Papers:  DCWV The Christmas Stack.  Chipboard Word:  Making Memories. Chipboard Stickers:  LYB Christmas Magic Collection. Wood Flourish:  Kaiser Craft. Border:  KI Memories.  Chain:  Making Memories. Clear Word:  Fancy Pants.  Other Materials:  Glimmer Mist and Stickles.

In the second layout, the picture you see is a group of ladies that also hold a special place in my heart.  These ladies provide instant relief from all the stress I encounter during the week. They are generous, they are quick to share their materials, and would gladly lend you their tools if you don't have one. Just like me, they shriek excitedly at the sight of recently released products, squeal in delight at the latest tools, and with all sincerity, ooh and ahh over your newest creation. These are my scrapbook buddies - the Friday group. Thanks to scrapbooking, I have met and formed friendships with such wonderful people.

This Christmas, may we remember to show our love and appreciation to those who matter to us. And these pages are my way of expressing just that. Merry Christmas, everyone!
