Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 6

Ingrid shows you how using non-traditional Christmas colors can be just as uniquely festive.
Sketch 77

Ingrid's Tips: I love to use the traditional red and green color combo for Christmas cards, but a non-traditional Christmas color combo can also be very refreshing. You don't necessarily have to use all elements of a sketch. I sticked to this sketch' design, but as you can see I replaced the flower element by a doily and Christmas bells.

To add texture and dimension I used 1mm adhesive dots and sewed a zigzag stitch on the green cardstock strip.

If you use patterned paper and would like to stamp a sentiment on your card I recommend stamping your sentiment on a cardstock strip so the sentiment really shows off.
