Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 9

Nenette created three CARDS with three sketches (2 of which are layout sketches)!

Sketch 104

Nenette's Tip:  Pay attention to the negative space a sketch may give you. In sketch 104, I made use of the negative space of the squares and created a window with the Christmas tree and gifts peeking through.
SOURCES  Papertrey Stamps: On my Couch; Stylish Sentiments: Holidays; Dies: Papertrey On my couch, Alpha blocks; Paper: Three Bugs in a Rug; Glossy accents, Diamond Stickles, Versamark Inkpad,Baker’s twine, Superfine detail embossing powder, Colorbox ink

Sketch 86

Nenette's Tip:  Use other colors aside from greens and reds on Christmas cards. White on white makes the sentiment and embellishments stand out more. This is a clean and simple card that can be easily reproduced. Just add some embossing to emphasize the layering.
SOURCES  Papertrey stamps: Signature Christmas, Background basics: Retro; Colorbox Glacier ice ink, versamark ink; ultra fine silver embossing powder; Cuttlebug embossing folder;ribbon; belt buckle

Sketch 134

Nenette's Tip:  Some of the circles were used to highlight the nativity scene. To add more sparkle, double sided strips with varying widths were used and ultra fine glitter powder was sprinkled over them.
